Founded in East Palo Alto, Community Legal Services in East Palo Alto (CLSEPA) is a nonprofit offering legal services that improve the lives of low-income families throughout the region. We specialize in immigration, housing, workers’ rights, records clearance, and consumer protection. Our team of attorneys, paralegals, and social worker work side-by-side with low-income communities and partner with community-based organizations, churches, and schools to bring about lasting change. We train and support community members to navigate the legal system and exercise their rights. We achieve our mission using multiple, innovative strategies, including community education, individual legal advice, and representation, legal assistance to community groups, policy advocacy, and impact litigation.
Director of the Immigration Program CLSEPA1
The Immigration Program Director will oversee a team of 20 attorneys, fellows, paralegals, and a social worker who are spread across multiple offices. The Immigration Program Director will lead the program’s strategic visioning, planning, management, and evaluation. The ideal candidate will be both a visionary leader and a collaborative team-builder.
A law degree is not required for this position, given that the Immigration Program Director is not expected to maintain a docket of cases. The Immigration Program Director is a member of CLSEPA’s Management Team and reports to the Executive Director. The position requires frequent travel between CLSEPA’s offices, including our current offices in East Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Burlingame, San Francisco, Redwood City and Mountain View.

Bookkeeper CLSEPA2
We have an opening on our team for a full-time bookkeeper who will help us achieve our mission of providing transformative legal services to diverse communities by handling bookkeeping and accounting tasks under the supervision of the Finance Director. The bookkeeper is largely responsible for financial data entry and management of financial transactions for our expanding team.

Located on the Menlo Park/East Palo Alto border, JobTrain is a private job-training center and accredited school (accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges – WASC). JobTrain offers an array of vocational training programs, and computer and ESL classes for adults and for in-school and out-ofschool youth. Our vocational training classes, academic support, and employment readiness programs are primarily geared toward individuals needing assistance with overcoming significant academic, career and personal challenges to be successful in school and work arenas.

JobTrain’s preschool is seeking to hire an individual who has a passion for connecting with and caring for children, and who have good communication and interpersonal skills to complement our team of teachers and site supervisor. This preschool teacher position is a full time position with benefits. This individual must be professional and flexible, and take initiative when needed. This team of professionals is responsible for overseeing the classroom environment and teaching children including, but not limited to, instruction, evaluation, and parent conferences regarding the development and progression of each child.

Youth Program Manager JT2 
The Youth Program Manager is a challenging and responsible position that oversees the provision of services to young people at JobTrain. The Youth Program Manager has primary responsibility for government funded WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) services aimed at out of school youth who are 17-24 years of age. The Youth Program Manager ensures that all the 14 required services are provided by JobTrain or offered through a close partnership with other organizations.

Boys & Girls Clubs of North San Mateo County
Boys & Girls Clubs of North San Mateo County is a unique organization consisting of three Clubs and two school-based programs in South San Francisco and Pacifica. Our programs are designed to expand on the school day by offering dynamic academic, social and recreational enrichment activities to members 6-18 years old. Club programs promote and enhance the development of young people by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.

Directs/manages overall daily operations of the Sunshine Gardens Elementary School Clubhouse with the primary concern for programs and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, facilities management, community relations and membership administration. Programs and activities must be organized, fun, meet the development needs of Middle School and High School and scheduled to ensure maximum participation.
