chpThe Community Housing Partnership in San Francisco is looking for a Director of Human Resources.  I know some students who have these qualifications and might be interested….

Position Overview:
Providing strategic leadership and day-to-day management, the Director of Human Resources will ensure that CHP has the staff and systems it needs to fulfill its mission. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director will serve as a key member of CHP’s management team, collaborating with other leaders to establish consistent, effective systems and policies and acting as a thought partner on ways in which strategic HR contributes to organizational goals. Overseeing a small human resources team, the Director will be able to think strategically while acting tactically to ensure the successful execution of human resources initiatives. The Director will exercise sound judgment and excellent relationship-building skills in order to support staff across the organization, including both unionized and non-unionized employees. S/he will approach this work with sensitivity to the challenges that CHP’s clients and direct-service staff experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual with strong leadership skills to join an innovative organization that is considered one of the leading supportive housing providers in the country.

commongoodBy the way, this position was sent to me by CommonGood Careers.  Have you heard of them?  Their web site says that they are “a mission-driven search firm that is committed to social impact. Our purpose is to support the hiring needs of organizations that are dedicated to tackling today’s most pressing social problems. Because of our clients’ ambitious goals, we work hard to ensure that they are able to secure the talent they need to create even greater social impact.”  Check them out if you are interested; they have a lot of interesting jobs posted and about half of them seem to be in the SF Bay Area.
