groceryCome out and join the NDNU community as we team up with Second Harvest Food Bank and NBC on Saturday, November 23 from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Students, staff, and faculty will be out in front of Safeway at 1100 El Camino Real in Belmont to collect donations. Come and show your Argo sprit and purchase a $10 pre-packed bag to donate to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara/San Mateo Counties. The “One bag, One day” food drive can make a difference to thousands of Bay Area residents.

Second Harvest has become one of the largest food banks in the nation, providing food to an average of nearly one quarter of a million people each month, the majority of which are seniors and low-income families with children. The food bank mobilizes individuals, companies and community partners to connect people to the nutritious food they need.
