Alicia Santamaria began teaching at NDNU just over two years ago and immediately received rave reviews from students, who appreciate her energetic style, expertise, and supportive teaching style. She recently shared her new website, which supports her coaching and consulting business’ mission of “facilitating people, teams, and organizations forward.”
She also shared new partnerships she is engaged with; including:
- Alliance Leadership – where she serves as one of their San Francisco leadership development facilitators.
- CompassPoint Nonprofit Services – where she designs and provides trainings through their open enrollment workshop program.
She adds, “my love of learning has only grown and I continue to seek opportunities for my professional development and growth. In addition to the professional coaching certification I earned several years ago, earlier this year I was trained in a coaching sub-specialty known as Conflict Management Coaching – a perfect marriage of my conflict resolution and coaching skills.
In mid-July, I will be getting certified in the Center for Creative Leadership’s suite of 360 degree leadership assessments. Future certifications will include Myers-Briggs (November 2013) and at some point in the next year or two, I hope to get my Certificate in the Foundations of NeuroLeadership from the NeuroLeadership Institute. I am absolutely fascinated by the application of cognitive and social neuroscience research findings to leadership and management.”
Finally, for those interested in the wisdom she offers about management, change management, and more, be sure to read her blog.
Congratulations, Alicia! We are so glad that you are part of NDNU’s Professional Studies Program’s team.
