Table of Plenty

Jim McGarry of the Sr. Dorothy Stang Center is looking for volunteers on June 13 in Half Moon Bay.  Interested in helping a worthy cause?  Read on:

“…the Center is organizing summer participation in Table of Plenty.   This is a beautiful new event organized by Sr. Jeannette Braun, SNDdN, to feed the hungry of Half Moon Bay and other Coastside communities with good food and great hospitality every Thursday night at Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Church in Half Moon Bay.

On Thursday, June 13  we need 12 servers and three greeters who would all start at 5:00pm. It would also be good if we could supply three cooks who would use the tried-and-true recipes which Sr. Jeanette has developed; they need to start at 1:30. If we can’t do the cooking this time, Sr. Jeannette has some regulars who can step back in.

Spread the word!  If all goes well, perhaps we can make this a regular NDNU commitment (monthly? Four seasons?)

Please contact Jim if you are interested.  His information is below.
