Poster Board Display!

From Patti Andrews: One of the ways we will commemorate Founders’ Week on our campus this year will be a poster board display highlighting ways in which members of our community are living the Mission and Hallmarks in their life and work at NDNU. All members of the campus community are invited to reflect on ways, large and small, in which they are already living the Mission and Hallmarks, and to submit a poster board to demonstrate this work. As an example, your poster board might contain a brief description of the activity, project, program, class, etc. being highlighted – the Who, What, Where and When – as well as an excerpt from the Hallmarks, photos or examples of the activity, an inspirational quote, or any other elements the maker wishes to include.

If you think you might be interested in participating, please contact me at I will be available to support your participation by helping make your poster board if you would like, and/or helping to make the connections between your work and the Mission/Hallmarks more explicit. Boards and workspace are available in the Student Leadership Office. When done, please bring yours to the Dorothy Stang Center / Center for Spirituality office behind the chapel (OK to leave it at the SLO also if that’s easier). We would love to have them all by Friday of this week, but if a few are still coming in Monday morning, we can work with that.

Please do let me know if you need help with ideas or implementation and thanks for your participation!

I know that the Seamless Garmet Project and the Parent Empowerment Academy – two non profits that originated as Human Services Capstone projects – will be represented.  Hope to see others there, too!
