Parking: If you were on campus last year, you may notice changes for the better this year… no, not a reserved spot directly in front of Cuvilly, but no more circling madly, hoping someone will leave before your 6PM class starts! The reason: to accommodate the need for evening students to park on campus, resident freshmen are no longer allowed to have cars on campus and some graduate classes are being offered at the Sobrato center. In addition, many administrative staff have been moved off campus to the Sobrato Center in Redwood Shores. Combined, these changes have resulted in less parking stress, a clear and definite improvement. If you have comments or suggestions about parking, your thoughts are welcome at Public Safety. Please send parking related email to: email@example.com.
Evening Shuttle: The evening shuttle is running again this fall – Monday to Thursday evenings from 5:30 on. It runs in a loop around campus and goes to the Cal Train station once every hour. If you have any comments related to the shuttle, Public Safety is also open to input about this service: send them an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Need a flu shot? The Health and Wellness Coordianteo is available until 8PM on Tuesdays and Wednesday.
Late Night Study Location Available: On campus, charged up from your class, and ready to get going on that research project? The Gellert Library is open late and even after they close, the Writing Center (located in the Campus Center, across from the Student Life and Leadership Office) is open each evening until 2AM and the PC Lab in St. Mary’s Hall Room 115 is open until 2AM Monday through Thursday evenings.
