8 months to go.

by Lisa Weaver

Yesterday, the lights went out at NDNU! A massive power outage threw the entire campus into darkness. But did that stop the Evening Intensive students from finishing their class? No! Students in the Professional Writing class, led by Professor Marsha Pendergrass, carried on for an additional 45 minutes, illuminating their work by the glow of cell phones. One extra lesson learned – there is a flashlight app that can be downloaded to your smart phone which is very handy to have in case of emergency!

(Thank you, Lisa, for the report and the great graphic.  And thanks to Marsha Pendergrass for forwarding this.  If anyone has anything to share, please send submissions to tmadden@ndnu.edu.  The more the merrier!)
